Congratulations to Mike Harrington, CEO and Glen Betts of ITM Publishing Services in London on passing the Adobe Acrobat 8 ACE exam recently.
Mike and Glen attended a two-day Acrobat ACE training course with Certitec in our London training centre and then passed the rigorous exam days later.
Adobe Acrobat ACE instructor Jon Bessant of Certitec holds Acrobat 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 Professional status and felt dajevu with Mike and Glen since he himself started in the technical publishing area whilst taking his original ACE back in 1999.
There were definite similarities to when I first took my ACE over 8 years ago said Bessant. I knew all the publishing and prepress parts of Acrobat but never experienced the other elements to Acrobat such as security, accessibility, PDF standards, javascript and advanced document processing. It's great to see Mike and Glen passing the Acrobat 8 ACE - there aren't many Acrobat ACE around, which makes it even more special !
