We all know gaining the Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) accreditation is tough but not impossible with some grit and determination.

As our trainers must possess ACE qualifications before training with Certitec, it's a natural progression for them to help our clients gain this industry-recognised accreditation. We're currently offering 2-day specialised ACE courses in London.

Here is a sample of recent clients who've taken and passed the ACE exams with Certitec.

Stephen Phillips - Acrobat X ACE

'As my role at SRK Consulting (UK) Ltd as a Design & Graphics Consultant evolved over the years, it became necessary to seek training in order to use the full Adobe Design Standard suite and Acrobat X Pro. Darren Keeling - Acrobat 9 and X ACE

March, 2011 – Darren works with the largest publisher in Europe, H. Bauer Publishing in Camden, London. In the technical services department Darren is always at-hand to solve technical problems with the many magazine titles produced each week by this busy publisher. Darren undertook intensive training with Acrobat 9 provided by Certitec and then shortly afterwards, passed the Acrobat X re-certification exam making it a double-ACE!

Congratulations to Sean Mitchell of Veterinary Business Development (VBD) on becoming a double ACE in Adobe InDesign and Acrobat 8 Professional.

Sean took private training courses in both applications with Certitec and passed first time! His latest exam, Acrobat 8, resulted in an 89% pass rate, which is exceptional considering the complexity of the questions across a broad range of topics. Sean commented: 'Becoming an ACE in InDesign and Acrobat has really made me feel valued as a member of staff, as knowing if you can pass those exams means that you're an expert in the software that you use on a daily basis. It also showed me that there is so much more to the products than you really think. The study was hard and with the backing of Certitec (even after-hours) I can now show the Adobe Certified logo within the business as testament to the skills I have acquired.'

Congratulations to Mike Harrington, CEO and Glen Betts of ITM Publishing Services in London on passing the Adobe Acrobat ACE exam recently at our London training centre. Mike and Glen attended a 2-day Acrobat ACE training course with Certitec and then passed the rigorous exam days later. Adobe Acrobat ACE instructor Jon Bessant of Certitec holds Acrobat 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 (X) Professional status and felt déjà vu with Mike and Glen, as he himself started in the technical publishing area when taking his original ACE back in 1999. 'There were definite similarities to when I first took my ACE over 12 years ago,' said Bessant. 'I knew all the publishing and prepress parts of Acrobat but never experienced the other elements to Acrobat such as security, accessibility, PDF standards, JavaScript and advanced document processing. It's great to see Mike and Glen passing the Acrobat 8 ACE – there aren't many Acrobat ACEs around, which makes it even more special!'
