Confirmation of Reservation
To confirm your reservation and enrol for the course, you must do so at least 1 working day prior to course commencement by confirming via email, by paying, or by agreeing to pay, for the course as set out below.
Late Bookings
1. Bookings made within 10 working days of course commencement must be paid for, or agreed to be paid for, immediately at time of enrolment.
2. Provisional bookings can not be accepted at this time.
Payment
3. You may pay or agree to pay for the course by cheque (payable to Certitec Limited), purchase order (in which case payment must be made within 30 days of the date on Certitec's invoice), credit card (we accept Visa, MasterCard, Delta, Maestro and Amex) or by bank transfer.
4. For all forms of payment, please include your name, course, course date and location. Certitec reserves the right to require payment in cleared funds in advance where Certitec has not established satisfactory credit arrangements with you.
5. The registration form must accompany any purchase order or cheque sent to Certitec so we can identify which delegate wishes to enrol in each course.
6. Certitec reserves the right to change prices without notice, but this will not affect any course you have already paid for or agreed to pay for in writing. Euro pricing is available upon request.
International Enrolments
7. International delegates taking courses in the UK must pay by cheque, money order or bank transfer.
Confirmation of Enrolment by Certitec
8. Once we have received your payment or agreement to pay, we will confirm your reservation.
9. We will post, fax or email you a confirmation package, which includes a registration confirmation number, directions to Certitec's facilities, and, if requested, hotel booking information. If you have not received this package at least 1 week before the beginning of class, please call us. We recommend that delegates do not make travel and hotel accommodation arrangements without this confirmation package.
Cancellation
10. You may cancel a course for which you have enroled or a private training package and be fully refunded all course fees provided you give Certitec at least 10 working days notice prior to the course commencement. See our cancellation policy below:
Notice of Cancellation Given |
Amount Payable |
10–0 working days prior to course commencement |
100% of course fee |
11. All cancellations must be received in writing or email and acknowledged by Certitec in writing or email.
Attendance
12. If a delegate fails to attend the first or any subsequent day of a course, Certitec reserves the right to deny the delegate entry to the classroom for the remainder of the course.
13. If Certitec exercises this right, the booking will be deemed cancelled and you will be liable for the full course fee.
14. Delegate substitutions are acceptable provided notice is given prior to course commencement and that the substitute delegate meets all course prerequisites or is approved by Certitec management.
15. In a situation where a course is run exclusively for a customer – at one of Certitec's training centres, on a customer site or at any other alternative venue – course cancellation must be received in writing at least 10 working days in advance of course commencement.
16. You will remain liable for the full course fee and any expenses incurred by Certitec if cancellation is received after this time.
17. In the event that it is necessary for Certitec to cancel or reschedule a course, we will endeavour to give a minimum of 5 working days notice. In such circumstances we will supply new dates for when the course is scheduled to next run and also if applicable offer a different venue. Alternatively, we can offer a refund on the full course if not yet taken or a pro-rata refund on the untaken parts of a course remaining. All liability by Certitec will be limited to the value of the original course fee and no other expenses incurred by any other means.
18. You may transfer a scheduled course booking to alternative dates; this incurs a £50 + VAT administration fee when the request is made in writing or email at least 10 working days in advance of course commencement. You might also request changes to the dates of a private course but this also must be at least 10 working days in advance and each date change will incure a £75 per date penalty fee. Once within this time period a sliding scale of charges will apply as follows:
Notice of Transfer Given |
Amount Payable |
10–0 working days prior to course commencement |
100% of course fee |
Please note a £50 + VAT administration fee also applies to the above |
|
19. Courses transferred within these time periods cannot subsequently be cancelled at any further time in the situation where a course is run exclusively for a customer – at one of Certitec training centres, on a customer site or at any other alternative venue. A transfer of course date must be received in writing at least 10 working days in advance of course commencement.
20. No transfers are available for such courses within the 10 working days period.
21. Funded delegates. Those who cancel with 10-0 working days of the course will forfeit the number of days in the course being cancelled against the same number of free days
